• There are so many quality, free tools and sites for easy collaboration, communication, sharing, and knowledge-building.  Here are some of my favorites for communicaton/sharing and keeping up-to-date:

Easy Sharing and Communication: Tools and Sites

• PBwiki's integrated YackPack walkie-talkie widget (insert plugin) - live voice chat, walkie-talkie style!
• Tumblr - "Refreshingly simple new way to share" and  save (scrapbooking) anything on the Web--when you don't feel like writing
• Senduit -  Unbelievably easy to use (2-steps) and free to share (or keep private) up to 100 MB files
• Google Docs & Spreadsheets and Gtalk - Used for this group presentation and for collaborative articles/book chapters

Keeping Up-to-date: Tools and Sites

• Alexa - high traffic sites, rankings, directory, and more.
• Internet Archive - Wayback Machine and full text resources, including Open Library and Open Content Alliance
• ResourceShelf - Gary Price's pearls
• Librarians' Internet Index - Still one of the best around for quality and current info
